An Alko towbar has a slightly longer neck than a standard towbar. If you’ve got an Alko hitch, you’ll need an Alko towbar and at Cappa in Derby, we’ve got plenty in stock. Do I need an Alko or a standard towbar?
An Alko towbar’s neck is further away from the flange, which helps to stop larger hitches from fouling the rear of the vehicle. Please note that if you use a standard towbar to move an Alko hitch and there’s an accident, this could invalidate your insurance, so it's really not worth the risk.
